FAQ
What is the minimum order quantity and typical lead time for linear motion bearings?+
Standard MOQ is 100 units per model for linear motion bearings and linear guideways. Regular production lead time runs 15–20 working days after order confirmation and deposit receipt. For high-volume or repeat orders, lead times can be shortened depending on current stock levels — contact us with your BOM for a firm schedule.
What payment terms does Xiamen Dongfeng accept for export orders?+
Standard payment terms are 30% T/T deposit upon order confirmation, with the 70% balance paid before shipment. For established buyers with a solid order history, we can discuss L/C at sight on orders above USD 20,000. All transactions are in USD.
Can linear guideways or bearings be customized to non-standard dimensions or load ratings?+
Yes. We support OEM customization for rail width, carriage length, preload class (C0–C3), and surface treatment (black oxide, hard chrome, zinc). Custom drawings in DWG or STEP format are required. MOQ for custom specs is typically 200 units, and tooling lead time adds 7–10 working days to the standard production schedule.
What quality certifications do your linear motion products carry?+
Our manufacturing facility is ISO 9001:2015 certified. Linear guideways and ball screws are manufactured to JIS B 1192 and DIN 645 tolerance standards. Material certifications (SGS, material mill certs) are available upon request. CE documentation support is available for buyers requiring compliance with EU machinery directive 2006/42/EC.
Is it possible to request product samples before placing a bulk order?+
Sample orders are accepted for most standard linear guideways and bearing series (MGN, MGW, HGR, SBR, etc.). Sample cost is charged at standard unit price plus express freight (DHL/FedEx), typically USD 30–80 depending on size and quantity. Sample fees are credited back against your first bulk order of 500 units or more.
